MEET ME AT MADISON CAFE:

121 Watchung Avenue in Montclair NJ.

Must have a good attitude and breakfast food service experience.

Follows recipes and proper cooking techniques to ensure products are consistently prepared to showcase our high standards and give our guests a meal they can't find elsewhere!
Willing to work in a fast- paced environment.

The line cook will work the following schedule:

Saturday, 9a-4p.
Sunday, 9a-4p.

Starting salary: $25 and varies depending on experience.
Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Free employee meal.

Job Description: The line cook will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: Breakfast and Brunch.

Prepares and cooks breakfast and brunch to-order foods that may require short preparation time.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and will operate grill stations.
Experience reading line tickets to prepare orders.
Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
Attends all training: Foodborne illness service training or other in-service training assigned.
Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures.
May assist with receiving inventory.
Ensures food temperatures are compliant.
Will assist in the daily cleaning of our kitchen.

Requirements:

Maturity of judgment and behavior.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Maintains a positive attitude.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
2-4 years of Experience.
